Well that’s a wrap for this years MAX-min project.
This is the PDF file of our project all put together. (What we turned in) The Final
In the End, my group decided to go with a minimalist idea.
We went with adding a handicap accessible ramp on the left side of the stairs that leads to a second floor entrance. In addition we added a retractable awning from the right hanging office to a gutter system that will be attached to the outside of the stairwell windows.
We added a ramp up to the second floor for a couple reasons; one, its gives multiple entrances to the second floor, two it be a great place for professors to go out and hold a lecture, and last it will just be a good place to step out and get a breath of fresh air. The awning was put in to help keep the rain off of all the entry ways and give the area a better feel in bad weather scenarios. The awning is activated by a community effort in a group of people pulling it down as it is needed.
We have all the drawings done now, its just up to putting them together on Photoshop and we will have our final diagram and then the final product!!
Now that we have made the diagrams of our draft and have the pictures, we begin the final draft.
We had to switch up the drawing to give each other a break and get the drawing done.
